Social: a walk in South Shropshire

Sue Falder writes:

On 24 July members and friends from the Shropshire group were joined by humanists from the Greater Manchester area and even Coventry for a morning’s walk from Church Stretton up over the Long Mynd, led by Liz and John Knowles.

It was a splendid day and, having reached the highest point, we followed the next valley down to join those patiently waiting at the Ragleth Inn for us all to lunch together.

The weather was great, the walking  good, the views stunning and the lunch excellent. And it goes without saying that the company was stimulating!

Many thanks to Liz and John for organising this, which all agreed should become at least an annual event in the calendar.
