April meeting

A get-together in the Hobbs Room, Shrewbury Library at Castle Gates on Thursday 8th April at 7.30 pm when Derek Woodvine will lead the discussion on `Why I became a Humanist’. Those of us who call ourselves humanist will contribute our accounts, whilst anyone who wants to find out more about humanism will be welcome to question and comment and look at any available literature.

The Hobbs room is under the archway just behind Darwin’s statue at Shrewsbury Library. Disabled access is via School Gardens. There is a little public parking after six on the road in front, a big multi-storey round the corner (Riverside Car Park) and the station is only a few yards away.
